Book Your 2012 Holiday

It will cost $5 million for a three-night stay at the the Galactic Suite Space Resort.

A company behind plans to open the first hotel in space says it is on target to accept its first paying guests in 2012 despite critics questioning the investment and time frame for the multi-billion dollar project.

The Barcelona-based architects of The Galactic Suite Space Resort say it will cost $5 million for a three-night stay at the hotel, with this price including an eight-week training course on a tropical island.

During their stay, guests would see the sun rise 15 times a day and travel around the world every 80 minutes. They would wear velcro suits so they can crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like Spiderman.

What do you think of that idea?

Hey, I'm from Shelly Park, I need to tell you that you guys are kinda copy-cat-ish to our topics! Because last term, our topic was Howick HISTORICAL, and you guys were Nelson HISTORICAL, and this term, our topic is SPACE, and YOUR topic is SPACE!!!!! So, it's just AMAZING because it's like MAGIC, we just think of a topic, and you guys just think of the SAME! KD

WOW pretty luxury, but really expensive you will have to save a lot of money to go on that trip. It would be very nice seeing the sun set 15 times a day and travelling around the world every 80 minutes. Sticking to the walls like spiderman sounds pretty crazy. Also 8 weeks of training on a tropical island really fun you would be really fit.
What a cool and very busy holiday. GB

It sounds like a lot of fun going into space on that trip. I think I would have to work for 5,000 years to save up that much money. Your blog looks really good. Are you copying us or are we copying you? It is funny that we are both learning the same things.

Hi there Shelly Park.

I think the fact that we are studying the same things is really just a coincidence.

We looked at you video on the space flight test run today.

WE would love you to comment on our space wiki as well.

Give it a try.
