We have been learning about the things we need to do to listen actively to other people. When you listen well you look at the person who is talking, make eye contact and reflect on what the other person is saying.
We all made up a role play to show we knew what to do. Rachel is very good at actively listening. Look how well she brings George into the conversation.

This is an excellent role play. It is exactly what the teachers at my school have recently been speaking about - how to listen well so that we are able to have good conversations. Hopefully the children at my school will become great listeners - just like you! Well done!

Role playing is a great way to demonstrate how to actively listen. I like how you practiced it after you went over it as a class.
Very nice idea. Listening is a very important skill. I have many students that could use more practice.

This is a great example of active listening. It is not easy to do is it? We are also trying to develop this in our class.

I think that if you are active listening you need eye contact,clear words and mabey you might even beable to lean foward a little. Those guys had it. What a perfect exsample for the world to see.
