Nelson's opening event to the Art Festival is a highlight for many children. After much creating, constructing and teamwork last term children from all over Nelson came together to participate in the parade.
Appleby School's masks were splendid and I was particularly impressed by how much the children enjoyed showcasing their work. It was great to see the whole school working together across the age groups to be part of the parade. I am sure everyone loved it.
