Questionaut

Questionaut is a web game that I found last year and absolutely loved and just remembered to put it on the blog. The idea is that you have to solve problems first by working out clues that you find by waving your mouse over parts of the picture. Then you have to answer some English and Maths questions correctly to advance to the next level.

It will take you some time to work out all the clues but it is something I hope you will enjoy looking more closely at- your parents will enjoy the challenge as well.

If you play the game with your parents and they let us know how they get on in the comments, you will be excused homework for the week. How is that for a good deal???

Andrew Lees from the BBC left a comment on our blog telling us about another game by the same people that made Questionaut. The new game is called Samorost 2.

I love it that you love homework Georgia. The game is quite a challenge. Well done. Maybe you can have another kind of reward to make up for still having homework. Let me know what you want to do!

We finally got to the end and fell off the moon back into the pond after testing my 5th form electrical skills. Loved the animation and trying to solve the puzzles to start the questions off. The Reillys

Well done Reillys

Good to know that all that learning in the 5th form was put to good use.

Good to do the puzzle now- you probably won't have time when the new baby arrives. Not long to go now.

Cheers

Hi, we had fun doing this but our computer is old and slow so it took ages which was a bit frustrating. We didn't get through all the levels but would like to try again.

It is a bit of a challenge. I just went through all the levels myself to refresh my memory. The one with arranging the colours really had me thinking. You are welcome to come in to school and have another go with a fast connection.

This was great fun to do together. We had real trouble on the third level with the cat. We finally got through to the end and got his hat back. The Avery family.

Well done Avery Family

I found the colours on the spaceship to be the trickiest level to get through. No homework for you Livy.

Here is a clue for the spaceship.

You arrange the colours on the spaceship windows in the order that they are coming out the side 1,2,3,4

Good luck

We had a go but because we had to use the computer at school we ran out of time to complete. Can't wait to be able to take more time over it when we are online hopefully this weekend!
