New Zealand Youth Brass Band

Today we had a special guest, it was the secondary school brass band of New Zealand. They played seven songs for us. We liked them all 'cause they were awesome. They had a base-drum, trumpet, trombone, tuba and others. We had lots of fun listening to their music.

Harriet - I love your recount of this, your picture and also your video recording. It really took me to the moment and made me feel that I was like part of the audience. I only wish that Mrs King was playing her Ukulele with the Orchestra as I understand that she is very talented and very good.

Dear Moturoa's Blog,

This made me think about the times I play my guitar and hand drums in the class for my fifth grade students.

We have many of our students that are in Band and I am wondering if our Band High School students would come to visit and play for us.

We enjoyed your video and found ourselves tapping along with the beat.

Thanks for a wonderful post.

Sincerely,
Mr. Howell and Fantabulous Fifth Graders
